Understanding Certified Refurbished

Can you explain what you mean by refurbished?

on the whole, the term Refurbished can cover a lot of ground. It can be anything from having a professional engineer strip the system and replacing any faulty or unstable component then reassembling with all the trimmings of re-thermal pasting the CPU ect. On the other hand, an item being sold as refurbished could mean the item was sold as new but returned by the customer unopened which

prevents us from reselling the item as new. They may not even has taken the item out of the box but once it's sold as new, again, we cannot sell as new therefore it's listed as refurbished.

Is if best to buy refurbished instead of new?

That all depends of what the selling price is. If the item is Grade ++, this means the item is brand new and probably an unopened customer return. If the selling prices is lower than what it sells for new, then take the deal. The item will come with the same length of warranty as new but at a discount. But if you only feel comfortable buying new then probably do a bit more research as you might find a certified refurbished item really is the ticket.

What's the length of the warranty?

All our refurbished items are sold with 6 Months warranty plus an additional extended 6 Months warranty.

Initially we sold the extended warranty as an Add-on as we found that our customers would always purchase this for peace of mind. But after crunching the numbers we found that we only had a very small percent of customers actually having to use their extended warranty as problems with their purchases were very minimal. So we thought, ok, lets not sell it as an Add-on, let's include it as a free feature.

So, It's all included in the price.

What are the conditions of your Laptops?

All the laptops have a description of their condition. If there isn't much to say about the laptop or computer then it will just have a 1 line describing it's condition. And we also include pictures of the actual product so you can actually see what you are buying.

How so i know if that's the laptop in the image?

We always take pictures of the items before we put them up for sale. If we have multiple of the same item then we take pictures of the one that's in the poorest condition. This way we believe every buyer will be happy or at least the first few customers will probably get the best conditioned laptop and the last person will get exactly what they see in the description.

Do you accept returns on refurbished products?

Yes of course. Our refurbished products have the same warranty as if you purchased new. You get all the benefits of buying new but at a discount price.
