iMacs are especially known for collecting dust and overheating. This is why they are one of our most booked in Apple mac devices.

The problems is airflow and how the fans statically collect dust. Once the fans starts to accumulate dust, the hot air that should be venting itself outside of the machine gets recirculated within the system which in turns generates more and more heat. And to be honest, heat isn't components best friend. Does not like it at all.

When you get the chance, turn your iMac on, leaving it running for approx 10mins, if it feels hot at the back then it's probably collecting dust and the cool air isn't properly being redistributed. And this is where the problems starts.

Macbook Air / Pro Hardware Service

Macbook, Airs & Pros suffer from the same problems relating to airflow as the imacs above. The difference here though is that the laptop versions are much easier to access the components & fans. Not only that, but the chances of problems occurring with the laptops is much less as although some of the parts and cables are very delicate, they ( in general ) easier to dismantle and reassemble so we charge less for this service which i guess you will be happier to hear. Also the turnaround time is also quicker.
